Local News: Borneo Motors introduce the 2011 Altis
Borneo Motors today launched the 2011 Toyota Corolla Altis with the new Dual VVT-i engine.
Priced at $84,988, only the 1.6-litre version is offered here. The new Dual VVT-i motor delivers 13 percent more power than previously while offering 10 percent better fuel efficiency.
Unlike the 1.8-litre model we tried in Sepang recently, the 1.6 Altis retains the familiar four-speed automatic gearbox. Changes to the exterior are minimal but most will be able to differentiate the new from the old via the new tail lamps and radiator grille. Inside, the new model gets new backlit Optitron meters and new door trims.
For a total peace of mind, Borneo Motors is offering all new Altis with five-year unlimited mileage warranty, free one year servicing and so on.
