Local News: COE Results for January 2012 Round 2
The results of Round 2 of January’s Certificate of Entitlement (COE) bidding results have just been announced. It sees a mirror image of the previous round’s results, with the prices of all categories going up with the exception of Cat D.

The results of Round 2 of January’s Certificate of Entitlement (COE) bidding results have just been announced. It sees a mirror image of the previous round’s results, with the prices of all categories going up with the exception of Cat D.
Though Cat A prices are up, it is still at its lowest compared to recent months. Cat A prices are up by $1,223 (2.6%) from to last round’s figures, Cat B is also up by $2,088 (3.17%), Cat C by $5,302 (13.7%) and Cat E by $1,401 (2.13%). Category D sees a drop of $130 (8.38%).
Total quota for this round is 1,390 and this figure excludes goods vehicles (Cat C) and motorcycles (Cat D).
The final COE prices for Round 1 of January’s results are as follows:
Cat A: $48,112
Cat B: $67,889
Cat C: $44,001
Cat D: $1,552
Cat E: $67,
