Local News: Mazda Kiyora Concept on Show At Official Opening Of Alexandra Showroom
Official Introduction of facelift CX-7 is also on show at Mazda's official opening of their second showroom at Leng Kee.
Spanning some 19,500 square feet, the new showroom can display up to 14-cars & is better equipped to accomodate Mazda's fast growing model line up.
The Alexandra location also houses over 14,600 square feet of workshop with 17 service bays & over 17,000 square feet of new car pre-delivery preparation.
In conjunction with the official launch of the second showroom, Mazda's latest concept car, Kiyora, will be making its local debut.
Kiyora, which means "Clean & Pure" in Japanese is Mazda's next generation compact concept car. With water as the design theme, the "Nagare" inspired Kiyora boast state-of-the-art aerodynamic performance.
Equipped with Mazda's next generation SKY concept power train 4-cylinder 1.3L Direct Injection engine mated to a compact 6-speed automatic transmission and featuring Mazda's unique Smart Idle Stop System, the lightweight Kiyora achieves a fuel consumption of 32km/L (under Japan's 10-15 mode test- cycle).
