Local News: Nov COE Round 2 Results
Records fall as Category A and B prices rise.

The second round of Certificate of Entitlement (COE) biddings for November saw prices hit 10-year highs for both Category A (cars below 1600cc and below, and taxis) and Category B (cars above 1600cc.)
A total of 833 bids were offered for the 597 Category A COEs available, and prices rose $4,999 to $39,000. Seven hundred-and-nine bids were lodged for Category B COEs, which had a quota of 480. Category B prices hit $47,890 following a rise of $2,389.
The next round of COE bidding will be in two weeks.
