Local News: Skoda launches three new models
Skoda today launched three models at a media event at the National Museum.
The estate version of the Superb, the Combi made its debut together with the new, second generation Fabia as well as the interesting Yeti crossover.
The Yeti and the Fabia are powered by VW's new 1.2 TSI motor that makes 105bhp and was recently introduced in the VW Polo Sport and Golf 1.2 TSI. Just like their VW counterparts, the Skoda models come with seven-speed DSG gearboxes.
The Superb Combi offers boot space and versatility that is unparalleled in its price range. The superbly equipped estate model is powwred by the same 1.8-litre TSI motor as the Superb saloon and once again feature a seven-speed DSG. Both the Yeti and Superb has won many awards overseas including a couple from BBC Top Gear magazine.
