Local News: The VW CC is here
Volkswagen today launched the new CC at the Tanjong Pagar Distripark. The CC is basically a thoroughly refreshed Passat CC. The 'Passat' moniker has also been ditched to further differentiate the CC from the regular Passat models.
The new car features fresh styling, with its nose now more in line with the rest of the VW range. Distinctive LED tail lamps and a new bumper are featured at the rear.
As previously, three variants are available - the base 1.8 TSI, the mid-range Sport 2.0 TSI as well as the 300bhp 3.6 V6. The base 1.8 TSI will likely be the volume seller and all models come with DSG gearboxes.
Other changes in the CC include revised interior trim and colours while equipment levels have also been bumped up. The 1.8 TSI retails for $179,800. Look out for a review of it real soon on oneshift.com.
