Like the Prius, the Prius C features Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive hybrid drive train. The C though, has a smaller petrol engine displacing 1497cc while the Prius uses a 1.8-litre engine. Total system output in the C is 100bhp and 111Nm. Like the Prius, the C sends its power to the front wheels via a CVT box. According to Toyota, this new affordable hybrid model can return an average fuel consumption figure of an impressive 27 km per litre!
