Local News: Volvo's long awaited new S60 has landed
Volvo distributor SM Motors has finally launched the new second generation S60 last weekend.

Three variants will be available locally, powered by the increasingly familiar 1999cc turbocharged GTDi motor or an updated 3-litre T6 from the S80 and XC60. The 203bhp 2.0T will be available in two trim levels - Dynamic and Premium. For a, er $7,000 premium, the Premium model offers extra kit like electrical adjustments for the front passenger seat, a sound system upgrade, rain sensor, keyless entry with PCC (Personal Car Communicator) and so on. Dynamic trimmed S60 is priced at $154,999 while the Premium model has a sticker price of $161,999.
The range topping T6 offers 304bhp and 440Nm from its 3-litre straight-six turbo motor. The T6 can be differentiated from lesser models from the outside by its larger 18-inch alloys. The T6 is priced at just a smidgen under two hundred grand, $199,999. All models come with City Safety as standard.
We've already driven the new S60 in Portugal back in June. Here's a link to our initial impressions of Volvo's new baby:

Obviously, we will road test it on our local roads in the coming weeks.
