Luxgen Wins Excellence Award
Packed with pioneering technology and abundant luxury, LUXGEN has placed itself in the leadership position in Taiwan’s automobile industry.
After an astonishing world debut at the 10th Dubai international motor show, and a record breaking sales success, with sales volume surpassing the entire Hyundai brand with just a single model, LUXGEN once again achieves a brilliant laurel by winning both Taiwan Excellence Gold Award and the Most Popular Award at the 2010 Taiwan Excellence Award ceremony.

A total of 30 products are nominated in the Gold Award from around 720 candidates, and only eight will be chosen to win the laurel. The competitors include educational toys, consumer electronics, industrial automation equipment, information technology productsand transportation. Among them, LUXGEN was chosen for its successful implementation and execution of pioneering technology and design in a passenger vehicle thus becomes the first automobile to take the top honour of the Excellence Gold Award for the time ever.

Besides the Excellence Gold Award, LUXGEN also tops the Most Popular Award by receiving over 10 percent of votes from around 1.2 million votes from the general public.
The Taiwan Excellence award is awarded annually to a select group of globally recognised design, exceptional quality and innovative thinking; nominated products must excel in R&D, design, quality and marketing/brand awareness categories. Over the years, the Taiwan Excellence Award has become one of the most prestigious product recognition programmes in Asia, with hundreds of companies competing annually for the award according to the Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
