Nobel Prize-Winning Physicist Is 100,000th AVATR 07 Owner
Professor Sir Konstantin Novoselov takes delivery of an AVATR 07 in Singapore, marking a milestone for the EV brand.
AVATR Technology has announced that Nobel Prize-winning physicist Professor Sir Konstantin Novoselov has become the 100,000th owner of the AVATR 07, marking a significant milestone for the Chinese electric vehicle brand's global expansion.
The delivery ceremony was held at the AVATR showroom in Singapore, where the renowned scientist received his Urban Luxury SUV. Novoselov, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on graphene, said he was drawn to the AVATR 07's futuristic design, advanced technology and intelligent human-machine interface.
"This is my first Chinese-brand car, and the innovation and premium quality are truly impressive," he said.
Launched as AVATR's flagship volume model, the AVATR 07 has become the brand's best-selling vehicle, contributing to global sales of more than 260,000 units. In Singapore, the model is priced from S$271,999 and competes in the premium luxury SUV segment.
AVATR entered the Singapore market in July 2025 through local partner Premium Automobiles and has since been expanding its retail presence and customer support network in its local market.
The brand said it has now entered 43 countries and regions worldwide and plans to expand into more than 110 markets by 2030, with a focus on Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe. AVATR positions itself as a global player in the emerging luxury smart EV segment.
