The R8 LMS was run by by the renowned Joest Racing Team, the same team that have been running Audi's works entries in the Le Mans 24 hour race in France. The stunning looking machine, driven by multiple Le Mans winner Frank Biela and Marco Werner as well as Hong Kong driver and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and WTCC regular Darryl O'Young finished second behind the Lamborghini Gallardo of arrows Racing driven by Tengku Hammam, Peter Kox and Christopher Hasse.

We can certainly expect to see more R8 LMS cars racing in Asia in the future as Audi aims to sell the race car to privateer teams in this side of the world.
