New CR-V revealed (and open for booking)

Pop into any Kah Motor showroom and catch the promotional videos of the latest 3rd generation Honda CR-V. This popular Honda model makes a distinct departure from the previous models in that it moves to become more car-like in its appearance and drivability. Based on the recently-launched Civic, the CR-V will be available in two engines: a brand new 150bhp 2.0-litre i-VTEC, from the same family as the 1.8-litre Civic, as well a 2.4-litre i-VTEC. Both models will have Real-Time-All-Wheel-Drive, as well as 5-speed automatic transmissions. To give the new CRV more car-like responses, the car’s centre-of-gravity has been lowered by 30mm, and it sits on a 30mm wider track. Order books are now open for booking, with delivery promised in January ’07.
