Nico Rosberg meets Singapore fans over the race weekend
Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 driver Nico Rosberg met fans at Suntec city one day before the race weekend. He showed appreciation for their support by giving fans exclusive photo and video opportunities, autograph signings and giveaways of Mercedes-Benz merchandise.
Also present was the new safety car of 2015, the Mercedes-AMG GT S.
Said Rosberg, “ I hope to do one better than my second place podium finish by securing victory at this year’s Singapore Grand Prix” and was excited about being a new father citing that “(it) is a completely new and intense experience but we’re over the moon” about it.
He eventually went on to finish the race in fourth behind Kimi Raikkonen of Scuderia Ferrari, while team mate Lewis Hamilton retired nearing the end of the race with a pedal problem resulting in a loss of engine power.
