November's First COE Bidding Shows Stability, Category A COE Price Back Up.

Category A COEs see a rebound, close to the price seen in early October. Overall, they are still trending low, and it is still a good time to purchase a new car.

Quota of 1,265 @ $32,302, up from $31,302,

Category B (cars above 1,600cc, and have a more than 130bhp),


Quota of 332 @ $29,501, no change,

Commercial vehicle Category C,

Quota of 1,121 @ $2,509, down from $3,951,

Motorcycle Category D,

Quota of 557 @ $32,000, down from $32,900,

Open Category E (All but motorcycles),

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB and the Internet Banking facilities of UOB or Maybank, do ensure that you have bank accounts with these participating banks.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
