Pivo2 & Nissan Cube in European Design Exhibition
Nissan's innovative Pivo2 concept, as well as the Cube compact car will be part of an upcoming European design exhibition entitled "Japan Car - Designs for the Crowded Globe".

The Pivo2 and the Cube will be on display at Cit des Sciences in Paris from Nov. 1 to 9 before travelling to the Science Museum in London from Nov. 29 to Apr. 19, 2009.
The design exhibition is part of an overall programme celebrating 150 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and the two host countries - France and the UK. The exhibition is organised by Design Platform Japan led by one of Japan's most distinguished international architects Shigeru Ban, and graphic designer Kenya Hara, the design force behind global retailer Muji.
The exhibition will showcase a total of 14 vehicles by seven Japanese auto manufacturers, in addition to exhibits of the most advanced interface technologies. The exhibition will be built around three themes - "size", "the environment", and "moving urban cells".
The Pivo2 features several advanced technologies that push the boundaries of urban mobility, including a 360-degree rotating cabin, eliminating the need for the driver to reverse. The boxy Cube features a spacious interior and lots of convenient storage packed in a unique asymmetric exterior. Like Japanese architecture, the aesthetics of these two cars is not just focused on the exterior but also on the interior.
