Porsche Carrera Cup Asia continues partnership with SC Global Developments

SC Global will once again be the naming partner for the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia race at the 2009 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX, to be held from September 25-27 next year. The race, the Porsche SC Global Carrera Cup Asia - Singapore 2009, will once again be a major highlight of next season's calendar, which is set to include events on Asia's finest race tracks.

Announcing the renewal of its partnership, Mr. Christer Ekberg, Managing Director of Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd said: "Following the enormous success of last year's event, which was a first "home" race for both Porsche Asia Pacific and SC Global Developments, we are delighted to continue what has proven to be a powerful partnership. The Porsche SC Global Carrera Cup Asia - Singapore 2008 was the first-ever home race for the many Singapore Porsche Carrera Cup Asia drivers and teams, and a superb opportunity to showcase their skills at the most eagerly-awaited motorsport fixture of the year.

The wide acclaim which greeted the race, held on the breathtaking Marina Bay street circuit and won by Team Jebsen's Darryl O'Young of Hong Kong, further strengthened the partnership between the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and SC Global Developments.
