Porsche extends range of mid-engined sports cars

Both new models are powered by a 3.4 litre Boxer engine that generates 303 hp - 8 hp more than the respective S models. They also sport new aesthetic and performance enhancements in addition to an extensive range of exclusive equipment that accentuate the striking design of both automobiles.

Reflecting its model designation, the Porsche Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2 and the Cayman S Sport proudly bear their edition numbers on a placard on the glove box. With global production numbers capped at 500 units for the Boxster S and 700 units for the Cayman S, these two stylish cars will be privileged additions to any garage.

Porsche Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2

The Porsche Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2 will only be available in the exclusive Carrera White colour, one of the long-time highlights in Porsche's colour range. Complementing the white theme of the car, the side air intakes, the centre console and the
dials on the three round instruments are also finished in white. To further accentuate the brilliant white finish of the car, sporty grey stripes extend lengthwise along the body, and is complimented by the stone grey roof and black leather interior which adds a touch of
sophistication to the car's design. The star-spoke rims on the 19-inch SportDesign wheels also feature as standard on this Boxster model.

Owners of this limited-edition roadster will also receive a Porsche Design Edition 2 Chronograph men's wristwatch from the Dashboard Collection. This specially designed timepiece pays homage to the white rev counter and speedometer spotted on this exclusive Boxster.

Porsche Cayman S Sport

Matching the dynamics of the Cayman S with the visual impact of the iconic 911 GT3, the limited-edition Cayman S Sport, is the more colourful of the two cars, coming as standard in the GT3 colours of Orange and Green, and proudly bears its model designation along its
flank. Further colours available on this special model are Black, Indian Red, Speed Yellow and Carrara White, as well as the exclusive Arctic Silver Metallic (available at an extra cost).

Sporting design cues from the GT3, the black rims, exterior mirrors and air intake grids of the new Cayman S Sport form a sporting contrast which is complemented by the black interior design package and the circular instrument displays without the usual binnacle on
top.

Over and above the 303 hp flat-six power unit, the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is featured as standard, lowering the entire car by ten millimetres, with five-millimetre spacers beneath the 19-inch SportDesign wheels, providing an impressive touch of power
and performance.

The car also features Bi-xenon headlights, the Sports Chrono Package and sports seats as standard, which enhances the particularly sporting appearance of the car in genuine GT3 looks. The sportiness of the Cayman S Sport is further enhanced by the sports exhaust
system together with a twin-chamber exhaust tailpipe, and the alcantara finish on the gearshift lever, the handbrake, and the rim of the GT3 steering wheel.

Prices start from SGD289,888 for the Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2, while the Cayman S Sport retails from SGD317,888 (Price is inclusive of a 5-year free maintenance and warranty program, road tax, COE and GST; subject to change without prior notice).
