Progressive Activity Sedan from BMW
The car will be based on the 5 series and have styling similar to the X6.

The BMW PAS should be ready to hit showrooms next year. Initial rumors told of a minivan-type vehicle that would compete with Mercedes' R class, but from the looks of the prototype, this doesn't seem to be the case.
This is the future of MPV's, Bavarian style. Despite a reputed weight of 1900kg, BMW engineers spent hours honing the PAS in their wind tunnel, which results in the car having a drag coefficient of only 0.31cd.
Motivating the fairly large chassis will be a pair of 3.0-litre turbodiesel engines with outputs of 245 hp or 300 hp – the latter generating a monumental 600Nm of torque. Petrol versions include a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo and a 4.0-litre turbo V8, generating 306bhp and 408bhp respectively. Staying true to BMW roots, all cars will be rear-wheel drive.
