RENAULT REVELS IN LATE TURNAROUND
For most of the season McLaren had a clear performance advantage with its MP4-20, but Renault – armed with an upgraded E-specification RS25 engine – decisively turned the tables in Shanghai.

“It was a dream finish to the year,” said Chevrier, Renault’s head of engine operations.
“We had a superb weekend in China. We went there with the ambition to win the race, and gave ourselves the best possible means to do it.
“Luck had nothing to do with it on Sunday. We started from pole, and led every lap. We overcame the safety car periods that negated our advantage.
