SG: 6 stops on NSL to end service early
For the past couple of years, Singapore’s first world public transport system haven’t exactly performed to the expectations of the general public. Laden with delays and breakdowns, the commuters were dissatisfied with the quality of service being offered at the cost they are paying. Thankfully, the complaints should gradually be lessened, for LTA and the relevant public transport operators are rolling out improvement schemes to make travelling on public transport more pleasant. Their latest improvement programme, is the replacement of sleepers and tracks from the Ang Mo Kio to Admiralty stretch. To facilitate in the works, which will span from the 15th of April to the end of October, the 6 stations affected will close 30 minutes earlier than usual for 5 nights a week. Commuters travelling at after 11:45 pm should make special transit arrangements to get to their destinations. Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
