SG: Car crushed in 4 vehicle pileup

A white compact car was involved in a four-vehicle pileup, and was so badly crushed that it could hardly be recognised. The vehicle was rear ended by a lorry, causing the car to lurch forward, hitting the Mercedes and a double-decker bus in front of them. Thankfully, the driver escaped death and was conscious when retrieved from the wreckage.  He was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and where he was found to have suffered multiple injuries. The accident occured just before the traffic light junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 and Serangoon Avenue 6.  The driver of the lorry, 57 year old Mr Low Choon Meng, was unaware he crashed into a car and only realised after he got out of his vehicle.
