SG: Enhanced EMAS signboards installed

The LTA has completed the installation of enhanced Expressway Monitoring Advisory System (EMAS) signboards on AYE and KJE. Unlike its predecessor, the new boards can display both text and graphics in 7 different colours, which should help improve the readability of messages. It is hoped that the improvements will help motorists better plan their routes and path of travel. Also, colour-coded travel time information will be shown on the electronic signboards located prior to entry of the AYE and KJE. A few of the said information panels will be installed along the expressways too.  Expect the new boards to be activated from the 17th of May 2015 onwards.
