SG: Motorist that barged through Checkpoint to be psychiatrically assessed
A couple of weeks ago, a Singapore-registered Mercedes driven by 64 year old Malaysian Tan Chu Seng, charged throught Woodlands Checkpoint, which caused injuries to a police officer. He has undergone psychiatric assessment at the Institute of Mental Health. He is scheduled to appear in court on the 31st of March and if convicted, he could be jailed up to 4 years for vandalism and committing a rash act, or fined $7000.
