SG: New road opens in Yishun
Motorists now have an alternative road to travel to Seletar West Link and the TPE. The new road, which has been completed and opened to the public 2 days ago, will span from Yishun Avenue 6 and Yishun Avenue 1, and will be named Yishun Avenue 8. It is a 1km long two lane, dual-carriageway road. Two traffic junctions have been put in place between Yishun Avenue 1 and 8, and between Yishun Avenue 6 and 8. The new road, coupled with the widened Seletar West Link, should help to cope with an increased traffic flow in the region. More work is currently being carried out to expand the interchange of the CTE, TPE and Seletar Expressway, courtesy of four flyovers, which, when completed in Q4 of 2015, will provide motorists a link from Seletar West Link to the major expressways.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
