SG: Taxi catches fire outside JCube.

An SMRT Taxi driven by 30 year old cabbie Mr Yusri caught fire shortly after he dropped a passenger off at JCube mall. When smoke appeared, he pulled over and got out of his vehicle 200 metres away from the JCube taxi stand. When he realised there was a fire, he called the police at roughly 7:50pm. The SCDF then received a call for assistance at 7:59pm, and sent one fire engine, one Red Rhino, and two fire bikes to put out the blaze. The fires were then extinguished in less than 10 minutes. Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire. Investigations are ongoing. Pictures are for illustration purposes only.
