Shell celebrates 125 years in Singapore by giving back
Shell is collaborating with Mediacorp’s Radio Gives Back to support families and improve the lives of needy Singaporeans.
From 4 April to 17 April 2016, Shell will donate $1.25 with every purchase of Shell fuels to raise a collective sum of $300,000. Shell will also donate $5.00 for every 125 Shell Escape Points donated by customers in support of this cause.
Through the donations, needy families will receive financial support for their daily necessities, utility and medical bills, as well as educational support for the children.
Customers may also wish to send personal words of inspiration on cards distributed with every fuel purchase across Shell stations island-wide to show their support and encouragement in a personal way.
Shell has also committed 125 hours of employee volunteerism to help the underprivileged in Singapore. Some of these hours will be used to support Radio Gives Back to raise awareness of this initiative, as well as food drives to these families.
