Singapore: The Prius TR3E Project

Borneo Motors is the first automotive company to launch an environmental care campaign called the [I]Prius TR3E Project[/I]. This unique project was launched in conjunction with the launch of the 3rd Generation Toyota Prius.

For every Toyota Prius purchased, a real tree will be planted by Borneo Motors Singapore in the name of the car owner, who will also receive a commemorative certificate.

On top of driving an eco-friendly car, Prius car owners can also take comfort in the knowledge that carbon emissions are also being neutralized by the tree that was planted by Borneo Motors. This is because over a tree's lifetime, it will absorb up to a ton of carbon dioxide.

Through the project's website, Borneo Motors Singapore is also opening its doors for everyone to participate in the Prius TR3E Project.

Members of the public can play a part by simply posting a "Green Note" online, sharing how they can, or have helped save the environment, providing an insight on this significance while inspiring others to do the same.

For every 100 "Green Notes" posted, Borneo Motors will plant a real tree. Through this website, Borneo Motors Singapore aims to plant 100 real trees.

Users who access the website can also discover how the 3rd Generation Prius goes the extra mile to lessen its carbon footprint on the planet.
