After its official launch in Singapore on August 18, the new Chevrolet Cruze has witnessed a phenomenal debut with over a 100 orders in five days.

The 100-order milestone underscores continued interest shown by Singaporeans for Chevrolet, as sales of the car are expected to increase.

The Cruze has also seen remarkable sales in the region. More than 53,800 Chevrolet Cruze have been sold in Asia-Pacific, with almost 28,000 in China.

The Cruze has seen strong sales in South Korea and Australia as well.

The Chevrolet Cruze heralds the introduction of a new global design for the Chevrolet brand. The Cruze boasts 27 months of global development with USD 4 billion in investment. 221 prototypes of the car were developed and over one million kilometers of test driving took place before the car was ready for consumers.

The first car to be launched under the auspices of the new GM, Chevrolet Cruze highlights the three priorities for the new company: customers, cars and culture. The Cruze spearheads the launch of a series of new products that share its superior design and quality standards.
