Toyota Adds Compact Urban Cruiser EV To Singapore Lineup
It measures just 4.3m long but offers a 2.7m wheelbase and up to 562 litres of cargo space.
Toyota has added another battery-electric model to its Singapore lineup, with the All-New Urban Cruiser BEV available from S$209,888.
The compact SUV measures 4,285 mm long and has a 5.2-metre turning radius, making it suited to city driving and tight parking spaces. Its 2,700 mm wheelbase also helps maximise cabin space.
Power comes from a 49 kWh LFP battery and a front-mounted electric motor driving the front wheels. Toyota quotes 0-100 km/h in 9.6 seconds and a 150 km/h top speed. AC charging is rated at 7 kW, while DC charging supports up to 53 kW.
Inside, the sliding and reclining rear seats allow owners to prioritise passenger or cargo space. Boot capacity ranges from 306 litres to 562 litres with the seats folded.
There’s also a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging and 12-colour ambient lighting.
Safety kit includes seven airbags, a 360° panoramic monitor, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and lane departure prevention.
The Urban Cruiser is currently on display at Toyota Leng Kee, with test drives at both Toyota showrooms from end-October.
