Traffic Advisory during Singapore GP
Members of the public are strongly encouraged to use public transport to get to their destinations in the Marina Centre area.

The F1(TM) Race will be held in Singapore from 26 to 28 September 2008. To facilitate the setting up and removing of the temporary race infrastructure, a series of gradual road closures in the Marina Centre area will take place from 20 September to 2 October 2008.
During this period, only police vehicles, emergency vehicles and vehicles displaying valid access labels will be allowed to enter selected roads in the Marina Centre area.
If you take public transport
There will be a free bridging bus service connecting City Hall & Bugis MRT stations to the Suntec-Marina Bay and Millenia areas. Public bus services travelling to the Padang and Marina Bay will be diverted. Click here for more information on route diversion of public bus services.
All pedestrian underpasses like CityLink Mall and existing overhead bridges in the area will remain open.
All MRT services will run till 1.30am from Fri 26 Sept to Sun 28 Sept.
If you take a taxi
If traffic conditions allow, taxis can drop off passengers at taxi stands at Suntec City, Millenia Tower and Centennial Tower. Other taxi stands in the vicinity of the road closure areas as indicated on the map are open even on race days.
If you drive
Roads in the area will close gradually in three phases. Three of four lanes of Nicoll Highway and the stretch from Republic Avenue to Raffles Avenue will be opened to Shenton Way-bound traffic during morning peak hours on some days.
