The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Singapore race, a support race to the highly anticipated inaugural Singtel Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix this weekend, captivated members of the public with a Road Show and a Slot Car challenge held at Bugis Junction last Saturday, 20th September 08. Porsche Carrera Cup racers, Matthew Marsh and local racers Ringo Chong and Melvin Choo were present at the event to take part in the Slot Car challenge and to mingle and sign autographs for the fans.

The Slot Car challenge was won by Mr. Jonathan Ong Meng Chiang, who walked away with the coveted pair of grandstand tickets to the Formula 1 race this weekend, adidas gift vouchers and a customised race helmet by Mobil 1.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Singapore roadshow continues at Bugis Junction this week and the Cup cars will be on display until after the Formula 1 weekend for members of the public who wish to have an up-close look at the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car used in the PCCA race.
