Volvo Appointed as Official Automobile Sponsor for Youth Olympic Games
Volvo is appointed as the Official Automobile Sponsor for the inaugural Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games.
Volvo will provide Singapore 2010 with a fleet of over 100 vehicles which include Volvo models such as the S80 sedan and XC90 7-seater sport utility vehicle (SUV).
These vehicles will be used during Games Times to transport delegates between venues, as well as for broadcast operations. Volvo vehicles will also be used in the Cycling Road Race event as service support, race doctor and commissaire vehicles. Each vehicle will also have a unique Singapore 2010 licence plate. Sale of these vehicles will commence this weekend.
