Worldwide Demand For The New Porsche Cayman Model Rises

  In July 2013, 13,000 Porsche customers around the world received the new cars, with an 11% increase from July 2012.  Out of these, about 2,285 911 Carrera Cabriolet and Boxster customers had new convertibles.  From January to July of this year, Porsche has delivered approximately 95,000 cars which is a 17% increase from the same period last year. "With the July 2013 delivery results, we have a good start for the second half of the year," said Bernhard Maier, Member of the Executive Board Sales and Marketing of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. "We are also continuing our product offensive. Customers and fans of our brand can be excited for the world premieres in the end of 2013."

The Porsche Cayenne was the most successful model worldwide with 7,086 of the SUVs being delivered in July 2013. The newest generation of the Cayman also showed a clear increase with 1,378 mid-engine sport coupes being delivered.
