What we like:
pros
Beautiful looks
pros
roof can be operated on the move
pros
quality interior
pros
superb B & O sound system
pros
superbly equipped
What we dislike:
cons
Not as dynamic to drive as a 335i convertible
cons
costs significantly more than the base A5 Cabriolet 2.0 TFSI
cons
engine doesn’t sound as muscular as the S5 coupe’s V8

Standard with the S5 Cabriolet is sat nav, cruise control, electric adjustments for the front seats and my favourite – the Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with SD card readers, a hard disk and DAB.

The long list of standard kit makes it better equipped than the slightly more expensive BMW 335i Convertible. The BMW might be the better handling car and ultimately more fun to drive but the Audi offers stronger straight line performance and the sheer beauty of it all – the latter factor is hugely important for a topless car and is surely more than enough to blow anyone away.
