Kia Magentis 2.0 Review: What lies beneath...

What we like:
pros
Updated exterior makes it more refreshing for buyers in this segment
pros
still delivers true value-for-money
pros
spacious cabin.
What we dislike:
cons
Questionable ride and handling
cons
brakes that need extra work
cons
reusing old signal and wiper stalks not a good idea.

The Magentis certainly looks fresh on the outside thanks to its Cerato Forte inspired nose and rear end. But those looking for Cerato Forte-like ride quality, refinement and contemporary feel in the way it drives will be disappointed by the Magentis.

On the positive side, the new model offers plenty of metal and kit for its modest price. In terms of value for money, the Magentis certainly delivers - but just not in other areas...
