Peugeot 407 Coupe V6 3.0 SE Review: French Passion with Protection
Take the standard 407, weld the rear doors shut, and then plonk in a 3.0 litre V6. If you fancy one of those long distance drives, and you want to stand out from the crowd of usual suspects, then this might just be one of those tools of luxury you had in mind for a while now.

Climb into the back seat and you would find it quite spacious, much larger than you would normally expect from a two-door coupe. Even the boot capacity is capacious, despite it being mentioned as only 400 litres.
You could spend an entire day on the highways up north and you probably wouldn’t be suffering from anything so much as cramped cheeks from all the grinning.
And when it was time to get off the expressways and on to the twists and turns, we saw the other side of things.
It was rather nose-heavy, despite an ego-satisfying amount of grip, and would sometimes be a little lazy to turn-in. On the other hand, if you were to activate its sport suspension setting and bring it right to its limits, impressively, it firms up substantially and still is very manageable around the bends.
You don't get much flex from the chassis and its front double wishbone suspension system partners its multi-link arm rear well enough to give you a decently sporty ride.
So here is another car for the fashionable, trendy and elegant crowd. It isn’t something too flashy, yet it will turn heads and catch more than just a few eyes. At almost $163,000, this would most likely be more for those who spend considerable portions of their money on uptown, snazzy outfits, or for those who want to showcase their success in life.
