There is fierce competition in the market for family sedans in the mid $50K range, no doubt about that. But none of the Impreza 1.5’s rivals come with All Wheel Drive as standard. And I also dare say this - the handling and comfort level one can get for below $55k, as well as the sturdy frame, is well worth it.

In uncertain economic times, this could be the perfect family car for the average Joe. Even if you're thinking of downgrading to something more affordable, well, you can't go wrong with this one...
