A Jamboree of everything!
Drag racing, drift actions, go-karting, automotive accessories and of course, who can forget the eye-candy - the race queens? All of these only at one event...

Not wanting to be outdone, our local drivers showed lots of skill in their drifting displays as well. Singapore’s most famous drifting son, Ivan Lim, displayed his own burning rubber and screeching ballet to the open-mouth audience. Two other local drifters in their modified S13s also brought the house down with their skills at the wheel.
The entire event was not limited to simply outdoor drifting and drag racing. A huge exhibition hall also displayed tuning services and accessories from bigwigs such as Garage-R, SILENT, ST Powered, McWell and many others. The adorably dressed race queens smiled and preened before delighted cameramen and many “pimped up” (a.k.a modified) vehicles, from past years and present were displayed.
Besides the testosterone driven displays of cars and women, there were games for the little ones in the form of the formula fun prix (a kiddie race) and a race prince/princess modelling competition for the kids.
It didn’t seem as if a couple of hours had already passed, but it was already late in the evening when we called it a day. It was certainly interesting to have events which puts together a first of its kind quarter mile drag race, and imported drifters from Japan to display their prowess. Apart from that, however, it was pretty much standard fare from a local motor show.
A companion suggested that if the drag race was open to members of the public to pit their skills against each other in their own tuned up carriages, it would be more exciting to watch.
Hmmm...food for thought.
