A SINful mix of metal and flesh
We sent our reporter for what must be the most anticipated event of the year for all you hardcore car enthusiasts...

Firstly, the drift demo was postponed due to some unknown issues on Friday afternoon (the day I dropped by) and there were signs of miscommunication and jittery security men all over the place.
Secondly, although there were a couple of impressive show-cars and loudly spray painted vehicles, yet the focus seemed more on the overseas and local female models. Yeap, that’s right - everyone's more interested in the ladies more than anything else!
Sadly, most of the show-cars featured were only modified slightly, and in fact, a lot of stock GTRs and Italian super cars were seen decked out throughout the whole exhibition hall instead. As for the tuning garages, some guests were rather surprised that they did not crank up the growling engines for people to hear the modifications made - but instead just leaving the ignition off.
Those issues aside, the event proved to be a crowd pleaser still, even if it was the sex-appeal rather than the petrolhead factor which pulled people in. We do wish for a couple more racing simulators and probably a chance to ride with the drifters in their mean machines though. And maybe even a drag race thrown in.
Well, there’s going to be Super Import Nights 2009, and we hope that will be more exciting. At the same time, the shutterbugs await the voluptuous models, both the human and machine kind...
