So, Massa or Hamilton?

Massa was not expected to put up a strong challenge for the title at the beginning of the year as many had expected this season to be a "Kimi vs Lewis" battle - but the Brazilian has certainly come of age to lead Ferrari’s cause. Once labeled as a wild child who often crashes, Massa has matured into a convincingly quick driver, albeit a bit inconsistent, especially in the wet. He remains tight-lipped about his championship chances with five rounds to go after Monza.

Hamilton, on the other hand, has an air of confidence about his efforts. Or is it complacency? His aggressive driving style in recent races won’t do him good in terms of relationships with the rest of the drivers. His peers will less likely to help him in his cause and neither will the FIA – Hamilton’s McLaren team are in perpetual loggerheads with the sport’s governing body and it will surely be under constant close scrutiny in all areas.

Four rounds remain after Singapore, and we’re pretty sure that this is yet another year when the championship goes down to the wire. It’s all for Hamilton to lose though - as he has already led the championship for quite some time now…
