The most track focussed and hard-core McLaren super sports car is here. Launched at an event held on the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, the 675LT promises to be a daily driver that will satisfy even the most demanding drivers out on a race circuit.

An iconic legend is reborn with the introduction of the 675LT; the McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail’ was the final iteration of the acclaimed F1, and the 675LT promises to live up to the legacy. True to its name, the 675LT is aerodynamically optimised, with aero styling all over the car that is fully functional. The new larger air brake at the rear is the epitome of its ‘Longtail’ name, with new carbon fibre bodywork to minimise weight and enhance aerodynamic performance. The nose is F1-styled with an all-new rear deck to increase downforce up to 40% over the 650S. The main focus of the 675LT is to deliver maximum performance, engagement and excitement, which sees McLaren improving just about every area on the 650S to create a car that’s even better to drive.

The car retains McLaren’s exclusive carbon fibre tub chassis, and is extremely strong while being lightweight. The new powertrain takes the existing M838T twin-turbo V8 and turns it up a notch; with a new titanium exhaust that promises a better noise created by the engine delivering 675PS and 700Nm of torque. The engine has been reworked, with over 50% of the parts new compared to the 650S. Power is sent to the rear wheels via the same SSG gearbox found on the other Super Series cars, with software upgrades to make it shift faster.

Limited to 500 units in total, four will make it here to Singapore and all units have been sold globally.
