This probably needs no introduction – Mount Faber is one of few hills we have in Singapore, standing at about 105 metres tall. You can drive up to the summit or you can take a romantic stroll up via one of the foot paths. Being in the central region, the view from Mount Faber includes the Central Business District. There is also a tower that is part of the cable car system connecting to HarbourFront and Sentosa.
Mount Faber Road is accessible via Lower Delta Road or Kampong Bahru Road, or you can turn into Morse Road from Telok Blangah Road and park along Mount Faber Loop, then slowly walk up. Otherwise, you can try your luck at the limited public parking spaces on Mount Faber. A valet service is available at S$5 per car.

One Rochester is a gastrobar hub at Rochester Park, surrounded with lush greenery and rolling hills, as well as a colonial ambience from the black-and white British pre-war bungalows. There are a few places to park within Rochester Park, but spaces are limited so that might be a bit of a problem. Nonetheless, a good meal accompanied with charming gardens and water fountains awaits.

Keep safe on the roads and maybe you can surprise your other half by giving him or her the coordinates of the place and getting them to simply follow the directions from there.
One thing you have to take note of when you head those ways tomorrow though – you will not be alone.
