200EX is a design study for a contemporary four-door saloon and shows the direction for RR4, a new model series from Rolls-Royce due for production in 2010.

At the press conference in Singapore, Tom Prves, CEO, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars said, "The worldwide reaction to 200EX so far has been very positive, and we are pleased to give customers from Singapore and the Asia Pacific region the opportunity to view this unique motor car."

"We set out to create a modern, lithe, and dynamic Rolls-Royce that bears all the characteristics of the great cars that have gone before it: effortless performance, unparalleled refinement, exquisite quality and confident design."

He continued, "RR4 represents a new car within a new segment, one that combines peerless comfort and build quality, yet broadens the Rolls-Royce brand appeal to a wider audience. More involving and dynamic, RR4 will appeal to those owners around the world who wish to drive it themselves."

RR4 will be powered by a brand new 6.6 liter turbocharged V12 engine unique to Rolls-Royce. The engine will be combined with an 8-speed automatic ZF gearbox. This new drivetrain will significantly improve fuel and C02 efficiency over the already class leading Phantom series of cars. Engine power will be upwards of 500 bhp.
