Several braces can also help improve a car’s handling abilities. Undercarriage braces increase rigidity in the middle of the car’s chassis, helping increase handling response on uneven road surfaces. Fender braces are installed at the corners of a car or at the fenders, where the chassis is generally considered weakest. As with undercarriage braces, fender braces increase wheel response, leading to crisper handling especially during hard cornering maneuvers.
