Aston Martin Valhalla Spider Brings Supercar Speed Outdoors
A clip-in wind deflector, a taller snorkel and 600 kg+ of downforce keep things stable at pace.
Aston Martin has removed the roof from the Valhalla without giving up any speed. The new Valhalla Spider is the brand’s first mid-engined, open-cockpit production supercar and the fastest open-top Aston ever built. Top speed is 350 km/h, with the roof on or off.

It uses the Coupe’s plug-in hybrid powertrain. A 4.0-litre twin-turbo, flat-plane-crank V8 produces 828 PS, and three electric motors add another 251 PS. Combined output is 1,079 PS and 1,100 Nm, with 0 to 100 km/h dispatched in approximately 2.5 seconds.

To keep occupants comfortable, the Spider gets a clip-in wind deflector that folds into three pieces and stows in new 15-litre sill compartments. The snorkel has been reprofiled and sits 35 mm taller. Revised active aerodynamics and stability calibration adapt to roof-on and roof-off airflow, with over 600 kg of downforce available with the roof fitted.

Most markets get a removable black fabric roof, rated to 200 km/h, while US cars get a carbonfibre hard top as standard. The hard top is optional elsewhere. A new carbon touring seat is standard, though the Coupe’s seat can be had at no cost. The dihedral doors are now frameless.

The Spider makes its global debut this weekend at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, with deliveries starting in Q3 2027.
