2013 Dodge Dart GT to debut at Detroit auto show
The 2013 Dodge Dart GT will join Chrysler's stand at the Detroit auto show next week.
The GT setup adds a sport suspension with frequency-sensing damping shocks. It will be offered with a six-speed manual transmission -- an automatic is optional -- and Chrysler's 2.4-liter four-cylinder Tigershark is the only engine available, producing 184 hp and 235Nm of torque.
The GT is based on the Dart Limited package. Standard equipment includes 18-inch aluminum wheels, a more aggressive front fascia with black accents, dual exhaust with chrome tips, LED taillights and a unique interior treatment with a heated steering wheel. Additionally, the Dart GT will get projector fog lights, power heated mirrors, 8.4-inch touchscreen display, backup camera and a host of other upgrades, which you can see below.
Optional equipment consists of HID headlights, black aluminum wheels, power sunroof, premium sound system and the Technology group, which includes push-button start, keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers and blind-spot indicators with rear cross-path detection.
