Lamborghini Celebrates 20 Years Of Ad Personam With Limited-Run Azzurro Finish
From custom paint to one-off specifications, Lambo’s Ad Personam programme has spent 20 years turning customer ideas into reality.

Automobili Lamborghini is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Ad Personam, the brand’s bespoke personalisation programme first introduced in 2006.

Originally launched as a way for customers to further customise their cars, the programme has since become a major part of the Lamborghini ownership experience. The company says 96 percent of vehicles built today leave the factory with at least one personalised element.

To mark the milestone, Lamborghini has revealed a new limited-period paint finish called “Azzurro 20 Anniversary Ad Personam”. The colour draws inspiration from the “Lamé Sky Blu” finish of the Lamborghini Miura Roadster, reworked with a modern four-layer paint process for a more reflective and layered effect.

The Ad Personam programme has evolved well beyond paint and trim options over the past two decades. Lamborghini opened its dedicated Ad Personam Studio in Sant’Agata Bolognese in 2016, offering customers a hands-on configuration experience with physical samples and digital visualisation tools.

The programme later expanded globally through virtual consultations and dedicated studios in Tokyo and New York, allowing customers to personalise their cars remotely or in person.
