44% increase in Porsche sales
Stuttgart Auto Pte Ltd (SAPL), the official Porsche importer in Singapore, announced outstanding results in both sales of Porsche cars as well as after sales service

A total of 300 new Porsche cars were delivered to customers during 2007, a fantastic record for the company. In addition, the first quarter of 2008 has demonstrated another strong start with a total of 91 new Porsche cars already delivered. This represents an increase of more than 44% compared to the first quarter in 2007.
SAPL, led by Mr. Karsono Kwee, Executive Chairman, has been the official importer and distributor since 1985 and is the only Porsche approved importer in Singapore. SAPL is also the only authorized provider with a factory approved pre-owned Porsche warranty in Singapore.
Mr. Christer Ekberg, Managing Director of Porsche Asia Pacific said, “We are very pleased with SAPL’s phenomenal success, dedication and commitment to delivering the true Porsche experience to customers in Singapore. These centres are fully equipped Porsche Centres with factory-trained sales, service and parts staff that provides complete maintenance and repair works with full factory warranty in Singapore.
Over the years, SAPL has made a substantial investment both in Porsche approved facilities as well as to train staff to meet 100% compliance to the strict standards”.
According to Mr Kwee, “Plans are also underway to refurbish and redesign the present Porsche Centre on Leng Kee Road, involving an investment of more than S$20 million. This is to facilitate substantially increased sales and after sales volume and the arrival of the new Panamera model line”.
The new Porsche Centre Singapore is expected to be ready during the second half of 2009. Meanwhile, service and repair work is taking place in a temporary workshop on 23 Leng Kee Road as well as in the fully equipped Porsche Centre in Sungei Kadut.
