Aston Martin has unveiled the Valen, a limited-run V12 special that takes its front-engined supercar formula to a new extreme.

Created by Q by Aston Martin and the company’s Special Vehicle Operations team, the Valen is the brand’s most powerful front-engined production car yet.

Its 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 produces 850 PS and 1,000 Nm, delivering a claimed 0-60 mph time of 3.0 seconds and a 214 mph electronically limited top speed.

It is also up to 110 kg lighter than Aston Martin’s existing V12 platform, thanks to extensive use of carbonfibre, aluminium, titanium and magnesium. An optional lightweight package saves a further 16.9 kg, while magnesium wheels are standard.

The eight-speed ZF automatic gets sharper shifts developed from the Vantage GT4 race programme, while Sport, Sport+ and Track modes alter the car’s throttle response and character.

The chassis has been heavily reworked, with bespoke springs, Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers, a solid-mounted rear subframe and revised steering, brakes and electronic systems.

It rides on bespoke Pirelli P Zero R tyres and uses 410 mm front and 360 mm rear carbon-ceramic brakes.

Aston Martin has also given the Valen a bespoke titanium exhaust with four 3D-printed titanium outlets, tuned for a sharper, more dramatic V12 soundtrack.

The styling is equally aggressive, with full-carbon bodywork, recessed headlights, large aerodynamic vents and a full-width rear light bar. Inside, there’s a slimmer centre console, 3D-printed detailing and a choice of Sports Plus or lightweight carbon-fibre seats.

Production is limited to 150 cars worldwide, with first deliveries scheduled for Q2 2027.
