BMW Is The Official Limousine For ASEAN Summit 2014 in Myanmar

BMW Asia and Prestige Automobiles (BMW's authorized importer in Myanmar), today jointly announced their fleet sponsorship of the ASEAN Summit 2014, which will be held in Myanmar for the first time, as a two part event which will take place in May and November next year respectively. A fleet of 95 units consisting of the flagship BMW 7 Series, the BMW 5 Series executive sedan and the premium BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle, will be deployed to chauffeur various ASEAN leaders and delegates attending the event in May and December 2014.  The ASEAN Summit will serve as a dedicated platform for ASEAN leaders to congregate and discuss key topics promoting growth collaboration, peace and stability across the Southeast Asia region.

This is the third and consecutive year that BMW reprises its role as the official limousine for the prestigious ASEAN Summit, with the previous ones being held in Cambodia and Brunei in 2012 and 2013 respectively. It also bring the tally of BMW vehicles dedicated to the ASEAN Summit over the past years to more than 500 vehicles since commencing the sponsorship in 2012.

When reached for comments, Mr. Neil Fiorentinos, Managing Director of BMW Group Asia said: “We are very pleased to be sponsoring the ASEAN Summit for the third consecutive year.
